Remember that time when someone "snatched" the credit from you?

When I ask people, "How did it feel?" - The answers I hear most often are:

"choking"

"It really hurts"

"I felt exploited"

"It made me feel like I'm being fired"

We have the possibility of being part of the flow (the flow of energy), and equally we can be the ones sticking it out (even without bad intention, but out of unconsciousness).

When we do something worthy of appreciation, gratitude, praise - but we do not receive them from those who were supposed to / could give them - it will probably always hurt, frustrate, resent.

It will feel like someone has “plugged” the flow and not allowed the gratitude to reach its destination.

And on the other hand ....

When we feel gratitude for someone, really feel it in our hearts, and even get excited about what someone has done for us - it never goes through telepathy.

Gratitude is feedback of immense value. It has the power to elevate, empower, produce motivation.

And it's very important to return. Why?

Because when we 👈 respond back 👉, we produce a circulation of energy. We do not 'stick' it with us.

Many times we fear, among ourselves and ourselves, that if we express it, it will transmit weakness.

More than once we fear that if we express it, it will cause after "flying on itself too much".

In my view, these may be imaginings that undermine our ability to empower others, to give them value and meaning.

Yes, it is possible that someone will take the gratitude to the wrong place. But you can always balance. It is also always possible to put someone on the wrong foot and be precise, to put things in the right perspective. This is how you learn and develop.

But avoiding gratitude in the first place - produces a cumulative negative impact.

Following the exact words of William Ward - will we really wrap a gift but leave it with us?

Do we deprive ourselves of the joy of giving (or the happiness on the face of the recipient of the gift)?

Gratitude is a valuable gift. Do not leave it with you. Pass it on. And as much as possible.

My recommendation - adopt the habit of one daily gratitude, at least (every time for someone else) 😊 #leadership #empoweringpeople #motivation #העצמה #מנהיגות
