"Serving is a privilege!" Or is it???

I remember how much cynicism this advertisement evoked years ago.

I remember how surprised I was by the amount of cynicism displayed.

Has anyone ever experienced a horrible, disappointing service experience that leaves a bad taste?

Probably everyone will agree with me that the more realistic question is "When recently, and how many times in your life ......"

But I have another question that interests me -

❓ When did you have a service experience that left you speechless, amazed and even excited?

💎 In my opinion, it is indeed a privilege to provide a service! 💎

A quality service experience will usually create an impact that stays with us for a very long time.

Aroma.

Business meeting.

I order through the app (truth, quite convenient).

Fate wanted (and no, do not ask in which branch) that there were quite a few glitches with my order.

So when the message "It's important for us to know how the experience of visiting the branch" popped up in my app - I obviously chose to give feedback (apparently giving feedback also needs to know how. About that maybe in another post).

The truth is, I was not really looking to get a response.

🔅 Admit it, what happened next was amazing.

Returned a personal email from the customer service representative.

From that moment on I had a rare and unconventional service experience. One of the best I remember in recent years!

Both in the level of accuracy, also in the level of the human response, also in the level of reference to the small details, the exact questions she asked, the care that was felt from her!

In each of the possible aspects - the service experience of a professional.

But it was not only professional. I think she was demonstrating a true leadership! For her, Serving was, indeed, a privilege.

And here I connect service and service experience, and leadership.

One of my favorite leadership approaches is called

The Servant Leader

An approach that presents the manager as the most important service provider in the organization.

In fact, the service he provides to his employees, should and can enable them to be the most professional in the service they give to customers. And here a circle closed for him.

And on a personal note, the service representative - in my view - was a leader! Without a doubt!

💎 It is a privilege to give service !!! 💎

And what do you think? Really really would love to hear!
